HELLO, hello, hello. . .

We have moved out a bunch of our furniture.  The house isn't empty yet, but it is getting there.  I was standing in the kitchen the other day, talking on the phone, when I heard an echo.  Yep, we're getting empty!!

No More Hippos

In a rare moment of having nothing to do, I happened upon a picture of a hippo online.  I thought it would be fun to maybe watch another National Geographic type show to allay my boredom.  I searched up and down the TV dial and couldn't find anything.  I finally went online to find out which Dish channel was NATGEO.  (We just switched to Dish.)  Apparently, the package we bought doesn't include NATGEO.  Fail.

A few little tears

I packed up my sewing closet.  I gave most of my stuff to DI or to Galena.  I kept only one sewing project, one pair of scissors, and about 1,000 spools of thread.  I will keep my sewing machine but my industrial surger is sitting at the very back of a 40 foot storage unit, not to be touched for 4 years.  Packing that closet hurt, and it was the only thing that I have packed up so far that caused me to cry.
