headache again. . .

As the title states. . . yes, I woke up again with another headache.  I hate them.  But I am blessed because it isn't a school day.  It is Sunday.  And since I don't study on Sunday's, I am able to try and relax through this headache.  I love Sunday's.  I so look forward to them because I can rest.  I can rejuvinate.  I can let it all hang out.  Well, not at church, but the rest of the day, yes.

I went to Time Out For Women yesterday.  I got to hear an incredible testimony by a lady from Sierra Leone.  I dropped two tears.  Which, if you read past posts, you know that THAT is saying something.  Those two drops didn't ruin my contacts, but may be the cause of my headache.  I had to force myself not to cry as she described being in a line of women who had just been raped by the rebels and they were "chopping down*" the women in the line, one of them being her sister.  I should have just let it go and sobbed.  The pain she must have felt as she heard her sister be hacked down . . . I cannot fathom it.  I am going to see if I can find her story only and send it to my friends.  We need to remember how blessed we are.

*Just an FYI.  "Chopped down" was described as having arms and legs hacked off and being left on the ground to bleed out.  So the victims were left alive without arms or legs to move from the ground and just lay there and die.  How despicable!

No Freakin' Way

Thinking that since I had already taken Chemistry and Biology in the past, I loaded up with 19 units this semester.  Well, that may have been a mistake.  I leave the house at 8:00 am, go to class 8:30-1:30, use 3-4 hours in between class to study, and have class from 5:30-10:00.  There isn't enough time in the day to even read the assignments, let alone study and memorize material.  I hope that I can figure out a way to learn the material efficiently.  I will keep trying. . .
